I don't believe in either.
However, hell is a punishment for sins based on a certain morality. It's like forcing a set of morals on someone with fire and brimstone.
Reincarnation is sometimes just essentially a system or a path of lives that gets your toward enlightenment. No hell for mistakes. No real sins.Just a way to get you to a sort of heaven. It allows for everyone being equal. And you don't have to believe in a certain religion or philosophy for this system to work. You will still, eventually reach enlightenment.

It's not very likely that there's a heaven
or a hell.
It's also doubtful that the universe is
infinite and began with a primal atom
hiding out somewhere in an icy space.
Just as the water isn't really going to fall
off the edge of a flat Earth.
We know today that creation occurs
when energy bits explode and interact
with invisible forces known as Laws Of
Physics. Time and space are merely
by-products of this reaction.
So what is likely?
We all have a guess.
I believe we show up one day in a genetic
situation that we're a part of, because that's
the way it happened this time.
So, if that's the way it happened, then why
wouldn't that be the way it happens. Why
would it happen some other way.
Bottom line? The day of the chosen children
and magic carpet ride is probably over.
Our real tomorrow hinges on the effort we
put into life, today.

Well I don't know about reincarnation or karma but Hell has no foundation in the bible. The word is a translation of the Hebrew word Sheol, the Aramaic word Ghenna, and two Greek words Hades and Tartarus. Four different words with different meanings, none of which has anything to do with a place where souls or people go to be tortured after death.

Material nature itself is constituted by three qualities: the mode of goodness, the mode of passion and the mode of ignorance. Above these modes there is eternal time, and by a combination of these modes of nature and under the control and purview of eternal time there are activities, which are called karma. These activities are being carried out from time immemorial, and we are suffering or enjoying the fruits of our activities. For instance, suppose I am a businessman and have worked very hard with intelligence and have amassed a great bank balance. Then I am an enjoyer. But then say I have lost all my money in business; then I am a sufferer. Similarly, in every field of life we enjoy the results of our work, or we suffer the results. This is called karma.

So if we have understood what Karma is then it is not difficult to understanding changing body at death and accepting another body.
Why somebody is rich or poor, why somebody is beautiful or ugly, why somebody is born intelligent or dull, etc... is answered by the concept of KARMA,ie., their actions in the past(not only this life but previous) led to their present condition. If somebody studies(Karma) law books he may become a lawyer not a doctor.
Karma simply means action and nothing else.

Because hell is infinitely more barbaric than karma. Karma means everyone gets to bliss after they work through their sh*t. Hell means a sadistic supermonster tortures you forever. And there also happens to be some interesting empirical evidence for reincarnation (though not for karma).

I'm a Christian but from what I've read reincarnation means that you have another chance - of being reborn in another body at a later date because your soul has traveled onward and upward.
Karma simply means what you have to atone for - the vibrations of.
In other words, it's easier to believe to that you'll get another chance to work off any evil you might have done in this life
by being born in a higher or lower life form than it is to accept that Jesus is your Savior and that without Him you're going to Hell.

People use the hell thing in a negative way, if you aren't christian then you will go to hell, but for buddhism the religion itself teaches you not to be greedy and self enrichment. And the buddha himself is not above anyone that practices the religion, he practices the way of buddhism so well that he is the ideal of buddhism, while god is the superior. If he was equal to every other christian than that would be cool, but if hes the greatest which means everyone else is inferior, it kinda makes the religion not a good one. Rather more like a religion created by a king to control his peoples mindset.

Reincarnation offers people a second chance; karma makes you responsible for what you do but gives some balance and wiggle room. Hell is like, "You don't believe exactly what I do? You get tortured for eternity, along with the serial rapist/murderer..."

Well for me Hell isnt a place but a goddess (Norse) Hel. But because i belive in that im against the norm all ready catching "Hell" for it..
Just the understanding of the univercie and the ying yang proncables. If there is a Hevan (paradice) there would have to be a hell (Place of torment).
But to be honoest for one person say I have the truth is a lil silly. We will never know on this side of life.

karma/reincarnation (for those who believe in them) are instruction, meant to help move an individual toward an inevitable end with some god.
Hell is simply revenge (in the form of torture) for misguided and/or wrong actions that never ends.
Surely you can appreciate why people might object to hell?
