i don't think that they do, but maybe i am wrong...just wordering as there used to be a show on t.v. thta showed people haivng their things repo-ed in the united states.

hi, i wasn't asking about a t.v. being repoed, there usedto be a show from the states that was about people having cars, boats, etc repoed....i was just wondering about it here in canada, i think here though they can come for things, but not the way they do it in the states...just come in the middle of the night and take the stuff..i could be wrong, don't know much about it..just aquestion i posted out of interest. thanks for answering!

YES they do repo in Canada for more info i have located a source you might find interesting

I do not personally know anyone who has had anything repossessed

They do repo cars in Canada. Like the US some procedures and regulations may vary by region.
Did you ask about TVs. I don't think personal property is repoed very much any more. Maybe if you do a rent to own from a local store they will try to repo upon default. Back in the day my uncle used to repo furniture, lawn mowers and appliances, etc.

Yes the canadians have their possessions repossed for non payment just like in the states. Usually you have written notice then the sheriff shows up.
