Don't go straight for the tongue. Do some slightly open mouth kisses first (with no tongue) and then either wait for him to put in tongue first before you do...or when it gets a bit heated put in the tongue. Don't use too much tongue and don't stick it way down his throat. Relax your tongue and gently "massage" his tongue, i guess you could say. Don't freak out and just follow what he does if it feels comfortable.
