Ok I joined Cheerleading/Dance/Drill Team...But the problem is that im kinda chubby.But many girls are chubby but they can do the splits ,toe touch and needle.I need help!!!!I can't do the Splits,Needle,and toe touch its kinda hard HELP ME!

Maybe Drill is your best option!

As a current cheer coach, I can tell you that YOU CAN DO THIS!
I have to say, that the more weight that you have to lift will make it harder, but it you choose to work hard, it is possible!

Here is what you need to do.
Work on muscle groups to condition these to stretch.
Butterflies and Stradle stretches will condition your thighs. This will not come overnight. But, the rewards will be great.

If you really want to do this, you are own boss. You can make this as hard on you....or as easy on you as you want!
You have to be determined. And even "chubby" it is possible!

I know, I have been there. Just a 10 pound loss got me from a lackluster Pike to a full Pike....no extra training...just easier to get my toes up to where they needed to be! 10 pounds is a lot when you have to strain to get it where it needs to be!

I know you can do it! You know you can do it!

It was hard for me too, at first, because I am very skinny, I am 70 ppounds, and 5"0, but I streched every day, and I was soon able to do a spli, and toe touch. I'm still working on needle.

It's not a matter of size, it's about flexibility. Just keep practicing every day and you'll gain the muscle control and flexibility soon. Happy cheering!

ok u really really have to stretch like 5 times a day!! ok maybe more like 3 but still you have to limber up...and if i were u id try to lose some weight hon cuz yea it would really help cuz u dont have that much to lift well thats about it

You just need to start stretching. How old are you anyways? I would just talk to your coah and do what he or she reccomends. They have the experience and the training to help you get better which will help the squad get better.
