The 30th anniversary is the Pearl anniversary.
Some referrences say Diamonds are ok but then again most jewelers will tell you that a diamond is appropriate any year.

You have probably had a zillion answers by now, but I believe it is pearl. If you want to buy a gift, anything surrounded by pearl, or even derived from pearl would be good. Maybe you know someone called Pearl, or even have an Aunt Pearl. Great! Just put her on a string & present her in a long, slim box. Hmm. Maybe not. But I'm sure it's pearl for the 30thanniversary.
