i have an old AAA battery charger which supports 300-400mnhz. i bought a new digital camera and its 900mnhz. will my old charger be able to recharge this battery or will it blow up or do i have to purchase a new charger.

Throw away the old charger and batteries.
Get a new fast charger and 2 sets of NI-MH large capacity batteries.
You will then be ready for anything.

I can't think of a digital camera that would use AAA sized batteries....anyway, I think you should make sure buy a new charger that is 100% compatible with the batteries you are using.

There are many replacement chargers than can accomodate your battery. Aside from authorized Sony stores, you can find one at computer stores, cellphone stores and digital photo shops. Just bring your battery to get the right fit.

normally it comes together with ur new camera.if u use d old charger,it w'd be slower charging than the new one.
