Wasn't my parents, was my grandpa. He was a minister, and after a late night (back when I was in high school) I fell asleep during the sermon. Grandpa passed on a few years ago, and I still have the tape from that service. Sure enough, he goes from talking about John the Baptist to screaming my full name. Needless to say, family dinner that afternoon wasn't exactly what I'd call fun...

Some the answers you are getting are hilarious! I agree that this happens to everyone at some point with their parents .When your young it probably is embarrassing, but you'll laugh about it later. Be thankful you have fun loving parents.

I know you don't want to hear this but "be thankful your parents are happy." I used to do this to my daughter and she got somewhat embarrassed. She got over it quickly and now laughs about it. People in public form opinions about us everyday so we might as well give them something REAL to talk about.

My dad farted while my brother and myself were eating at a fast food restaurant. Then he started talking like no one heard it. We were so embarrassed and shocked all we did was stare at him, while he rambled on about nothing.

My parents, surprisingly, now that you have asked, have never embarrassed me. They are so much fun. Then again, I don't embarrass easily.

When you get older, there is no such thing as embarrasing...it's called drunk.
