Definitely not both together - suspenders are more dignified.

Just the suspenders, it'd look very nice under a suit. There's no need to wear both suspenders and belt at the same time.

Lighten up, for pity's sake. This is entertainment not real life. No film, no Soap, no play could ever be produced if the PC and Heath and Safety fanatics had their way. Suspender belts are on sale in most markets around the country, and in some stores. If people think we are living in a 'PC era' then the patronising prats have won. We are living in changing times, as mankind has always lived, and if you need to categorise this era then try 'the dark ages-terrorist era'.

Suspenders (US) or braces (UK) are out of fashion for now. Too bad, I think they are more comfortable than a belt. Look at it this way - if you keep your suit jacket on who will know?
