Your W2's must be postmarked by the last day of January - BY LAW. I doubt if you can download them from an intranet site due to the possibility of identity theft.

There is a website called w2express.com where you can download your W2 if your employer is listed on there (there is a link that lists the companies) but what I found out was that unless you actually registered and set up an account by Jan 14th on that site, then you are no longer able to register and get your W2 from there. My husband's company was listed on there, but I was not able to log on because I did not have a pin number so I called payroll, and they told me it was too late!
So at this point I don't think it would be an option for you, but you can try if your company is listed and see if you can get a pin number to put in with your ss number. I would call your workplace and find out, and also ask them why they have not mailed your W2 yet or has it been mailed to an old address or something? You should of received it by now. Good luck! I know how frustrating it can be waiting for a W2 to come in the mail. :(

by Jan 31st you have not received your W2, call the employer and ask them if they have been sent. If by Feb 15th you have not received it, call the Internal Revenue Service at 1-800-829-1040 and file a W2 complaint. They wil take a report and send you a form that you can use as a subsitute, you will need your last paycheck stub when you call, along with the name, address and phone# of the employer and what dates you worked for them

You can DL W-2s if your payroll company offers them online (ADP is one). You can also try the http://w2express.com site. If that doesn't work, you can go to your local Jackson Hewitt office. They usually have a list of local companies they can download w-2s from. As a last resort, if you do not receive your w-2 by February 15th, you can file your return using a substitute W-2 created by using your LAST paystub of 2006. If this is the case, then you might want to consider using a program or tax prep office.

It depends if your company has retained the services of a company that delivers electronic W-2s. Ask your HR department, they'll know. And ALL W-2s are required to be mailed no later than the last day of January.
