No, the Earth will rot and die in a thousand years or so, but by then we will have moved on to destroy other planets, so it will be ok.

This is a tricky question, many things can effect the Human race. Plague, global warming, asteroids, eruption of a volcanoe that changes the atmosphere, which could all potentially threaten the human race.

An asteroid would most likely wipe us out, if it was big enough. However Global Warming, we would survive, the floods would kill off millions, then the follow Ice Age would suck, but a lot of humans would survive.

But don't worry about such things, eventually we'll all die, because as most people know, stars (like are sun) eventually explode and die, and that would destroy are whole galaxy.

But better then that, the moon is moving away from the earth, so many inches a year, so once it breaks away from Earth's gravitational pull, that might screw up the atmosphere enough to kill us all as well.

But even that is thousands of years.

So here's the breakdown, the most immediate way for the human race to die out is from an asteroid. But we will have enough times notice before the asteroid actually hits, like a 10-12 years or so. But don't worry, scientists believe that when an asteroid is finally on a direct course to earth, they may be able to pull it enough off its course by changing the gravitational pull by launching a satellite shuttle towards it.

So, live happy, and don't contemplate on Earth's impeding doom.

It is already too late. We have been on this self-destructive trip for a very long time; we just didn't want to do without any creature comforts and look where it go us.
We already know the earth has a limited time to exist (Our sun is in trouble and so is our plant from Global Warming), but if it isn't destroyed by us prior to that or by a space anomoly is your guess.
I don't think there will be anything to salvage from the earth to start from scratch.

i dont think that we will change our ways in time .
one of the global disastres is the world coming to a stand still and going in the other direction ,this will turn the whole place into a giant washing machine ,with tidal waves sloshing about and a reversal of all currents
acording to the Hopi this has happened before
Terrance McKennas time wave ,which measured magnetic out put and projected these findings in the computors calculated by the diminishing magnetic waves ,that it would come to a halt by 2012,

what ever happened the world would clean itself totaly fron humans and animals included as well as flora.

I don't think so. I believe that we will all die in a nuclear explosion. Just look around. This one wants to have more power than the next guy. And to make it worse, Bush is threatening other countries, too, so of course they'll want to build up their stockpile. He's just going to leave a path of destruction behind him. At least all of us good people with be in Heaven with God for eternity!
