Should I bail before I get oficially stalked? Or am I being way too pessimistic? This person seems really nice... but a bit anxious to "add water and stir" .... and poof! Instant relationship! Advice?

I love how some assume it's another girl! I'm gay! It's another guy. I was just keeping it general so that everyone felt like they could answer! Jeeesh! If you were one to assume that it was a female, shame on you! The world is a MUCH bigger place than your obviously small town. PEACE. And thanks for all who answer this question. I'm finding this process rather interesting.

Well, just let them know that you like them and everything, but maybe a weekend trip is going a little too fast, and you'd be more comfortable with just going out for coffee or something. Be gentle - let them know you just don't want to move too fast.
If they don't back off, trying to go way too fast with you, maybe it's better that you stay away from them, if they seem mentally unstable.

What was your first instincts you can always trust them. If you feel uncomfortable you don't do it, but if you feel comfortable take a chance. Life is too short to live with regret and love is always a chance and sometimes you have to make sacrifices. Take care Heather

I'd be too freaked out to even ask Y!A. I'd just decline then run! But if you like her too much for that, just tell her it was too much for you and for this stage of the relationship and you need to sloooow dooown.
