my mom and dad is divorced ... and i live with my mom ... and i loved it ... ... when she was living with my dad ... she was sick ... and she putted ur $8.000 in my dads bank .... and when they divorced ... we tryed callin him this week ... but he doesnt pick up the phone ... the first time i called ... he picked up ... i told him to give my mom the money .. but he said .... nothing and hang up what should we do to get the mony bakk ?? will the lawyer let us get the money from his bank ??

If this bank account was not mentioned as an asset during the divorce proceedings it will be difficult to get it back.

Need to get a lawyer. Since they were married at the time. The money was put into the bank. It mostly will end up going though court a few times. Good Luck.

Most likely your mother will get back half if she lives in a comuity property state. The judge will make them split everything including whats in the bank. If they are already divorced then it's his money now. There is no proof it is her money.
