A poor person even without a roof over his or her head can have a successful life if he or she is comfortable and happy with what they do with their life.
Its not a matter of how much one makes nor material possessions, but its the quality of life that makes them happy. The person who has the least and is happy is far better off than the man who has everything and is happy, because when his riches fail him, he will be the most miserable of all men.

If you were to ask different people what success means to them you will get varying answers , most will say the above however depending on the individuals personality they may have longed for a particular thing all their life and are now happy to have found it in which case will be their Nirvana. to answer the question, he is successful only if he can live with the decisions he has made and remain happy with it, most would concur that if he has a mistress and married then the marriage is not successful due to the fact that he is not true to his marriage vows.
