I don't know if this will be too risque for the stage in your relationship that you guys are in, but I'll tell you what I just thought of the other day for my husband:
My mom has a massage table, and my husband loves his back and shoulders massaged. I figured, since he's not the type who likes flowers or stuffed animals, I would give him a "gift of service" instead. So I will be setting up the massage table and some candles at our apartment, before he picks me up from work, and I will just surprise him with that when we get home!
If you don't feel like that would be too weird for you two, I think that would be a great gift. :)
