I'm a freshman and at my school, we have a 'Sadie Hawkin's' dance, but it's called Romp. The girl is supposed to ask the guy to it, and I have a guy in mind, I'm just not sure how to ask him! I want to be creative and original, but I'm not sure how to do that and not be chessy. Also, how do I handle rejection well if he says no? I don't want to make a big deal out of it but I'm not sure how to just accept it. Any ideas?
Thanks a bunch!

If you are not sure what he will answer, you should just somehow ask him straight out privately. What might work is chatting with him bringing up weekend plans or something, and when you are talking about your plans say "and also im lanning on asking you to the dance" or something like that.

Public askings, like when playying hangman with a whole group of people or something like that could lead him to say yes to avoid embaressing you when he really doesn't want to ad that could hurt future friendships.

If he rejects you, you just have to take it. God knows guys deal with it all the time. I've lost count of hw many times i have been rejected. It will hurt like hell for awhile believe me, but friends always can help heal the pain. But the only cure for rejection really is time.

Just be honest and ask out the person that you care for. Life is too short to live with regret. If he says no, it may hurt your feelings, but you have to accept it and do it with a smile and feel proud that you have done this, because nothing is accomplished without asking. In the future you will find the person you love. Take care Heather

Well I'm a guy and I know what us men love! Give him food, works 4 me. But really if you want to touch his soul, and feel love spread in your pounding heart let him see your smile. Look him deeply in the eyes and talk. Ask him. If he rejects u, he's a @ss and you should kick him in the balls and laugh. Bt the smart thing is say,"oh, srry about bothering you." No guy is worth crying over.

Just ask him!! Of course you don't have to ask him face-to-face, you can write a note or something. If he says no, don't make a scene. Just say something like, "I hope we can still be friends."

Just ask him, it is a Dance. Not a marriage proposal.
