Absolutely not! It seems as though adults enjoy the idea of having a family more than they do actually trying to raise one. Its far easier for them to just ignore their child's poor behavior until they're out of the house and no longer their problem than to try and address the behavior issue! So long as no one confronts them with what their child/children is doing, whether it be a manager or simply another patron, they don't care!
One of the things that I don't understand the logic behind is the reluctance of store managers/owners to confront these individuals in these situations. Yes, I understand that this would mean having to define a line of unruliness between merely annoying and a true nuisance (I think everyone can agree that expecting children to act like perfect angels all the time in all situations isn't practical) and that they'd fear losing a customer as a result of the confrontation. However, what about all of the other patrons who are subjected to these children?

No, absolutely not. Parents should keep their children with them in the store until such time as the children would be old enough to browse responsibly by themselves. This way, the parents are taking responsibility for the behavior of their children. Additionally, the children are learning lessons about budgeting, mathematics, and becoming concientious shoppers as they accompany their parents on this task.

No it's not. But it seems that some parents never taught their kids manners, and they just want to shop on their own when they get to the store. These kids will not grow up respecting other people's property. And they're probably gonna be very aggressive because they don't seem to be loved and cared for.

No it is not alright and can be dangerous to the kids and other shoppers. These days parents seem to have forgotten how to parent! They are to into the idea they want to be the kids friends. Come on people, they are your kids not your "friends"!

No its not. Makes me wonder when they grow up what they will be like. I work with kids and they have told me parents will go to Walmart to shop and tell thier kids to "go play" and they will page them when they are ready.
Business owners are too affraid to tell parents to take thier kids home or stop them.
I am not though. I see kids do it I tell them to go away and stop doing that. Or I will just go up to them take the toy from them and put it back on the shelf. It gets thier attention and they usually stop doing it. My hubby says one day I am gonna get my *** whoped by a disgruntled parent but oh well!

NO it is not OK. It is rude and sometimes dangerous. Parents who do that should have to be locked in cells with their undisciplined children and annoying toys.

no but its the business of the stores authorities to tell them otherwiseits the parents who should!...if they are really bothering you, you should tell the parents or whoever is the adult companion to tell the kids to stop, not you to tell the kids because they are not your kids>

no , it is not... you see more of this type of behavior all the time and it will probably continue to get worse as time goes by...parents used to smack their children on the behind when they acted this way...now, they fear doing anything ..for fear of being reported for child abuse.......so....

No it is not. But it is perfectly acceptable to give the kid a "gentle kick" or a scary look so they stay the hell away from you, the innocent shopper
