I have an eye that is half orangish brown and the other half blue.

Anyone know what this is called and how this happened?

When part of one iris is a different color from the rest of the iris it is called partial heterochromia or sectoral heterochromia. It is caused by an excess or lack of pigment within the iris or within part of the iris. It can be hereditary or the result of disease or injury.
