Most of the time the price is the same as if you sat down at a
restaurant and ordered the same thing. Now some restaurants may charge a little more if you order food to go to makeup for
the cost of the containers & cutlery. I don't know to many just
carry out establishments around .

I agree with Waldeck, 9% is the tax rate for the city of Chicago.Now if you go somewhere in the city and they overcharge you on the taxes contact the city dept. of weigh & measure.Make sure you save your receipt just in case you have to report that restaurant.
