My dog dug some used tea bags out of the trash and tore them up. If she ingested any, it wouldn't have been much b/c the tea leaves were all over the floor. She is a toy poodle. Will she get sick?

I doubt it's a cause of concern. She'd have to injest quite a bit for the tannen's in the tea leaves to be problematic. Keep an eye on her and if she seems ok, eating and drinking fine then you most likely don't have a problem. If she is vometing, has bowel problems or acts lethargic, take her to the vet. Most likely she just scattered stuff all over the floor.

She may get sick...especially considering her small weight. Any small amount of caffeine can be toxic. I would take her to the vet just to be safe:
Coffee, Coffee grounds, tea and tea bags: Drinks/foods containing caffeine cause many of the same symptoms chocolate causes.

might get sick and vomit. make sure she has plenty of water would be the best since tea is a diuretic and will dehydrate the dog. maybe try giving her some extra food to kind of "soak up" the tea. it actually shouldn't be too bad since they were used and not as strong. keep a good eye on her and remember she should be drinking plenty of water.

Nothing should happen to her. My chihuahua has eaten some weird things and my toy fox terrier ate a christmas orniment once. Your poodle should be okay just keep an eye on her.

She'll probably be just fine. Trust me, my dog has chewed up a lot worse. She may through up once, but that is normal. If you really think she is acting different, or just need a professionals advice, take her to the vet. But, I think everything will be just fine!

Herbs are jus like grass so she should be fine, if it wasnt alot then shell diffantly be ok...since the herbs were "drained" she wouldnt have eaten all the ingredients the herbs have.....but if your still worried give your vet a call...

just wait and see how she is....she will probably just pass them like anything else, tea bags are non toxic for dogs so dont worry

Were it your weed, you'd have cause for concern, because she'd eat all the doritos, but a little tea is fine.
