It seems that I get very mad very easily and go on these emotional shouting rampages. Even the littlest comment can set me off and I've been trying to prevent it for 3 years now. My parents are threatening me with therarpy which gets me even more mad. Nothing seems to be working, every time I try to calm down I get the feeling to scream even more. How can I stay calm?

I don't know why so many of you ppl are thinking he's being unreasonable because this girl keeps wanting to grab his private parts. I think any guy would have a good reason to feel nervous under this situation. Anybody who would do that may also be possible of inflicting some pain or even harm. And speaking as a woman, I've been grabbed by guys and I never did enjoy that! Even attempts at grabbing make me nervous, too. Just tell her in no uncertain terms that she needs to BACK OFF! If she's persistant, remind her that there's laws regarding sexual harrassment, sexual assault, etc. If you guys would stand up for yourselves once in a while, things would go much better for you. Make believe you've already died. All that crap that is pissing you off shouldn't matter so much then.

Really? There could be various reasons, and talking to someone about it could help. It could even be hormonal or some sort of chemical imbalance.

I've never been much for going into rages, but have certainly been pretty upset and angry before. I've also almost died on a couple of occasions, which has helped to bring some balance to my perceptions. Life is long, and there's little of it we can control.

Maybe some kind of disciplined exercise would help, like martial arts? If you want to try something calmer, try yoga.

Good luck, I hope you learn to channel whatever is inside you into something that will make your life better.

Maybe you can go see someone about that. It might be an anger management problem. There are just some people in the world that have a hair-trigger temper. I think that getting some therapy may help you get to the root of the problem and they can give you some advice on how you can stay calm.

Sweety I have 8 children and if you are that mad then try to clean and listen to slow music it calms the nerves. I think that when you are mad you need to be doing something that makes you feel good like bake a cake, clean the house, talk to someone you are close to,etc. What ever you do, do not give someone the satisfaction of having the power over you.

Remember that you should be the only one who has control over you. When you let someone else upset you so much that you have a screaming fit, then they have won and now they have power over you.
Refuse to give anyone that kind of control. Do yourself a favor and remind yourself that you do not want to give anyone else the pleasure of making you lose control.

COUNT TO 10 AS MANY TIMES AS IT TAKES TO CALM YOURSELF, PARENTS SEEM TO GET SMARTER AFTER WE'VE GROWN AND ARE OUT OF SCHOOL. YOU CAN DO SILENT SCREAMS IN YOUR ROOM AND ALSO HIT A PILLOW OR THE BED, WHATEVER IT TAKES. IT WON'T HURT TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT THIS AND ALSO IF YOU MIGHT NEED MEDS FOR A SHORT TIME PERIOD, IT DOES HELP. THERE'S NO HARM IN SEEING SOMEONE FOR THIS PROBLEM. WISHING YOU THE BEST.
