Ok, there is a girl who I have been hangin out with, we have been hangin out for a while and i have started to like her. For a long time, we have both really liked to touch each other (as in like playful fights and pats and stuff) and we do all this stuff together. For a while we have hung out almost every weekend and we went to homecoming together back in October. She always hugs me after school and says "Call me later" cause she says she loves talkin to me. So for a while we have talked every night and she has been really flirty with me for a bit. She asked me to sadie hawkens recently and i said yes and we have been makin plans. Within the past couple of days since she asked me tho, she has gotten quieter. She talks to her friends and flirts with my friends (she is flirty) and then kinda doesnt talk to me or even notice me at much aside from smilin at me in the halls. We do still talk and hang out and she is just like normal then...Why has she all of a sudden started to ignore me?

This is really obvious.So you say youve been friends for a while? It appears that she liked you alot,she had sent you obvious signals,and she enjoys your company.She probably started to ignore you or "lose interest" because you took way too long to ask her out.She might have moved on to someone else who might have the courage to ask her out.She may be flirty because she wants attention,YOUR attention,she could even be flirting with other guys to make you jelous,and apperantly you still havent asked her out! Boy you betta get of your butt and go call her right now! Dont let the relationship/friendship die out.

You can have a lot of people answering here with their opinions.
Because we all can not read her mind. She might be just flirting with you or she might have like you but since you've not taken any steps, she just moved on. Nobody knows.
I guess the best and most accurate answer is to have the answer out from her mouth. Ask her.

A) she still likes you. i think this cause of the STILL smiles at you in the halls...ive went through that before.
its just all the hype and worry she had put herself through to ask you to that dance has taken a toll on her. and now shes prob. scared things are awkward btw. you two cause it gets like that sometimes ya know?
give her space and maybe mention to her that your excited to dance with her again and your glad she asked you. Oh. hmm. when your hanging out you are allowed to mention that she seems to get quieter at school and you miss the pre asking you out her. lol
B) She doesnt like you-like you. and doesnt want to lead you on to thinking this after she has just asked you to be her date at a dance. IF this seems to be more of the case, talk to her about wanting to dance with a bunch of other people plus her at the dance, in a casual were going as just friends way so she knows your both on the same JUST friends page.

dude she doent want to be with you romanticly. You are in the friend zone. Some women get off on leading guys on. She looks at you as a friend or "big brother" and she might have gotten the vibe that you want more than just a friendship.

Maybe she is planning something like trying to kiss you by a dare. Or maybe she has her eye on someone else. Ask her do you really still want to go to the dance with me because you seem like you don't. Really ask her something or if your relationship is going to go any further you need to actually ask her about it or the relationship is going to be horrible

One of two things, she maybe thinkin she made a mistake askin you. She also could be thinkin about her true feelings for you and how goin to the dance together may make them stronger. Why don't you ask her instead of us. That's the only way to know for sure.

she's probably excited about the dance and doesn't want to mess anything up between the 2 of you before hand.ask her if she'll go out with you on a date sometime after the dance

maybe she likes you and has sent every signal to you but you havent asked her on a date yet and shes trying not to look too desperate or hung up on you....ask her out...i know its scarey but what doesnt kill you makes you stronger right? :)
