Either of there narcotics can make you sick...nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, vomiting and others side effects.
She should never take them at the same time. The Vicodin is a stronger pain killer. Both drugs are usually prescribed to be take 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours. The instructions of how your mom's doctor wants here to take the medication should be on the label of the prescription bottle from the pharmacy. If in doubt, you can call the pharmacy where the medicine was purchased or call the doctor's office and his answering service will have him contact you.
Hope your mom feel better.

She probably should not have taken those at the same time. I have to eat something with those or they make me sick also. Give her some crackers and clear soda or water to get mixing those up. And do not take any more for at least 6 hours! She has alot in her system and will probably fall asleep. The bottles should say how far apart to take the meds. Sometimes it is 4 hours and sometimes it is 6 hours.

What should I avoid?
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before using any other cold, allergy, pain, or sleep medication. Tylenol (sometimes abbreviated as APAP) is contained in many combination medicines. Taking certain products together can cause you to get too much acetaminophen which can lead to a fatal overdose. Check the label to see if a medicine contains acetaminophen or APAP.
Avoid drinking alcohol. It may increase your risk of liver damage while taking Tylenol.

it could make you feel sick to your stomach. usually on the pill bottle it has the warning stickers and they should say "take with food" tell your mom to take them after a meal. i know from past experiences, i pulled out my back and i was given vicodin for the pain. i took one early in the morning without eating and within an hour or two, i felt really dizzy and i felt like i was going to throw up. she should consult with her doctor on the times of the day she should take her meds.

you haven't any longer have been given an allergic reaction to the codeine consistent with say even though it makes you nauseus and you have GI section outcomes. Codeine has a tendency to be the worst one; I even have had a lot of sufferers that the tylenol3 makes sick yet can tolerate vicodin/percocet/lortab == those are derivatives of codeine. commonly what takes place, is that the codeine pops up as a pharmacy alert and that they purely cancel all codeine derivatives. purely save telling them which you're taking vicodin devoid of outcomes. I continually shown narcotic allergic reactions with my sufferers as different cases they weren't actual allergic reactions; and stated the drugstore. Your different selection is to no longer tell them relating to the tylenol3; it relatively isn't any longer commonly an actual selection in hospitals to apply and in the event that they attempt to furnish it to you, you are able to continually tell them it makes you sick to the tummy and refuse and ask for a diverse med.

If you don't tolerate codeine well, then yes, it can make you sick. I would suggest you ask your doctor for Darvocet, it works much better for me than vicodin or tylenol 3.

Welcome to a learning process about muscles. Read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It teaches about muscles, pain and referred pain and how to fix it.
The best mix of vitamins according to a heart specialist in CA are prenatal.
The thing all vitamins seem low on is the combination of magnesium and potassium (the very thing muscles need) but they can be found in bananas or molasses

I believe that your mother has probably taken too much codein. It is the drug in both of these pain meds. They both also can cause much vomiting and dizziness on their own. Call you physician. She may need to be put on different meds for pain.
