I weigh around 125lbs and am like 5 1' 1/2. If I eat oatmeal (140 calories), carrots and celery (idk how many calories), 2 apples (160 calories), dinner (around 300 calories), and 2 atkins snacks (260 calories). I exercise half an hour everyday (burning 540 calories). How long do you think it will take me to lose 30lbs?

I'm only 16 years old 95 pounds at my height and age is healthy. I'm not going to get an eating disorder if I wanted to do that I'd already be anorexic. I want to do this healthy.

I appreciate the concern but I haven't grown in three years and my mom stopped growing at 16.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO LOOSE 30 POUNDS!!!! JUST BECAUSE YOUR MOTHER "STOPPED GROWING AT 16" DOESN'T MEAN YOU WILL!! YOU NEED TO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION HOW TALL OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS ARE!

Oh dear God. Why do you want to lose 30 LBS?! You're perfectly fine. Don't lose more than ten please.

Reply to additional info:

You're right. At 16 that is healthy, but still in the low range. 125 is also healthy. You are NOT overweight. At 16 your body is also still growing and developing, so an unnecesary weight loss diet could stunt your growth.

Look at your intake and what your burning. You have to burn more than you take in to lose weight. To lose 30 pounds isn't very realistic unless your planning to lose about 5 lbs per month. If you try to lose it too fast you probably will put it back on just as fast. Eat more often and less food each time you eat and the weight will come off.

Why would you want to, you are a good weight for your height, the exercises will help tone you, but why set yourself up for an eating disorder.

Don't use a pinned down diet but rather use "Fitday". It is free and you log everything you eat. It analyzes not only calories but nutrition as well.

good Luck

If you weigh 125 lbs, you really don't need to lose 30 lbs., in my opinion.

I hope this answer doesn't offend you, it's just my opinion.
