These are my interests, in no particular order, of course. Im considering majors in business administration, marketing, management, finance, economics, or high school teaching. I also like the idea of being my own boss or leader. i read somewhere that economics kind of round all of the business part up, so im thinking an economics major.. But I've been researching online and it might be hard to find a business job with that plus, an article said the economics teacher might be the loneliest of all teachers.. economics can take me into two different routes, such as the business field, or the teaching field. I can also major in mathematics, but I cant think of anything else they can do besides mathematician for the government. i want to find a major that will open many doors and opportunities. Kind of like a back up plan..

It really depends upon your interests, hopefully you will do something in your career that you enjoy doing.
One thing you didn't mention but you sort of 'hover' around is Accounting. In the USA anyway there is a large demand for accountants and the pay is fairly good. The other factor about Accounting is that you can work in the field for a few years and really get a feel for the business, then you can decide to get further education in the field where you think you can do the most good.
To teach business you would probably need a dual major - education and a business field. Big difference between being in business and teaching business. I know, I've done both!

You need to research your topic a little more. First of all, your major should be something that interests you and nobody else. Many college students take the core classes and wait to learn what interests they develop. Many college students change their majors once or twice because their interests change as they mature. You do not have to declare a major when you begin college. You can wait and see how it goes.
Everything you mentioned sounds good and will always be needed as long as this is a free enterprise system. Also, a third option is the government.

I didn't know what I wanted to take either. I have such a wide range of Interests, but things like math for example were not my strong suits. Science and English, Music were my strong suits. I took General Studies for my two years which allowed me to take the basic requirements for all like math english etc. while taking elective classes that I was interested in. You will find alot this way, not just about the courses but about what you think you know about yourself. And,, sometimes a class you think you might find interesting maybe more as a hobby or personal interest only; could open new and exciting doors you never considered. As long as you are still fufilling the mandatory classes, you aren't wasteing money or time but gaining invaluable knowledge. Even if the knowledge is not specifically directly related to your major. You can major in General Studies. Then when someone as yourself ,is unsure, you to can share your wide range of knowledgeability with them in places like Yahoo Answers! [LOL] P.S. G'day, What do you like? you are able to considerable in something: underwater basketweaving or lunar technologies. there is not any such situation as pre-med. Get some catalogs from med colleges and consider them! examine the front standards. you will choose a three.seventy 5 GPA & intense MCATS. additionally 2 years of chem, a million 3 hundred and sixty 5 days each and each of physics, biology & english comp., plus math via 1st semester calc., consistent with probability the finished 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. this is it. A med college you are able to desire to choose to envision out is the USUHS. the school is loose & they pay you $200K to attend. :-) no longer for each individual, yet you may a minimum of examine it out. good luck! You might want to take a look at accounting. Demand far exceeds the supply in this field. You will pretty much have a job waiting for you once you graduate from college. You can eventually become a CPA, and be your own boss.
