i got my 1st job a couple of months ago, but i quit after 2 weeks. i havent got my w2 in the mail, but my parents did. my mom said there was a site online where my taxes are done for free, is that true?

by Jan 31st you have not received your W2, call the employer and ask them if they have been sent. If by Feb 15th you have not received it, call the Internal Revenue Service at 1-800-829-1040 and file a W2 complaint. They wil take a report and send you a form that you can use as a subsitute, you will need your last paycheck stub when you call, along with the name, address and phone# of the employer and what dates you worked for them

call the employer. You should be getting it any time. Check online for the sites (I don't know the URL since I use a software program.) If you eFile you can probably use your last pay stub since that has the employer's ID #s and you need that to eFile.

Call the HR dept at where you worked and they will send you one.

Did you get a paycheck?

my husband did not get his w2 and irs told us he could use his last check stub on the 15th of feb without any problem so you can just use your last checkstub good luck
