You have more faith in yourselves? I mean do you feel like you have a different outlook on life? and your more accepting of the things you cannot control? I can't speak for anyone else but I have alot of faith in myself and know that if I really want something all I need is a positive attitude and a hard work ethic. I know that sometimes life can throw you a curveball but I feel like I handle it alot better. Things like death I handle alot better then most Christians I know. Do any of you feel the same way?

I do have a different outlook on life, via Buddhist teachings. The Dharma did teach me how to be more accepting of things I cannot control, yes, and how to look at life a lot more realistically, thereby making me a lot less angry about a whole lot of things in life and calmer.

Faith, or lack thereof, probably doesn't change much about our human condition.
Atheists and Theists all have the same problems, anxieties, etc...life is life. We probably even deal with them in similar ways. Atheists just don't believe in god.

I have more faith in myself to think logically than theists, sure.

Different outlook? You mean a non-deluded one?

I think that is a fair way to look at it; people don't wait around waiting on a magical being to solve their problems; they tend to take care of things themselves.
