No

Once the recording session is closed you cannot erase or use a CD-R again.

CD-RW do allow you to read and write to them though.

A kind of fun way to destroy a CD-R is to place a paper towel sheet in a microwave, place the CD on it with the data side up, and run the microwave on full for about 10 seconds. You'll get a nice light show as well as an unreadable disc.

The best way i erase them is to snap them in half and burn them.they can not be erased and re burned period. You need to buy cd-rw they can be burned and erased and re burned about 100 times. This requires a CD burner that supports it and won't work on any body's CD ROM or DVD unless it supports CD-rw and may require special software installed.Nero burning ROM supports it with a utility called Incd.

No. CD-R is write once. You need to have a CD-RW if you want to erase it to use it again.

Nope, one chance only with a CD/R. There is no way to erase and rewrite them, you need a CD/RW for that.

sorry but cd-r discs can only be recorded on once and cannot be deleted, you will want a cd-rw disc, they can be erased and used over again loads of times
