Can I file a long form even if I don't own a home?

Why are you worrying about what form to file? You should be worrying about under-withholding penalties and having a huge tax bill.

Get Turbo Tax and it will take care of you.

Sure u can. But like the other person said expect to pay back some money. Unless u have kids. If u have 2 kids you will not have to pay them a thing plus ur going to get back a nice Earned Income Credit and other Child Credits. But for 2007 u should get that fix on form W4
