Go to Kensington Market!!! It has everything you are looking for! Check out Chinatown....The CN Tower has a revolving restaurant so its cool...Dining out on Toronto's Island would be nice..too .! Toronto offers lots of ethnic options..

I was delighted to find a restaurant that has been in business since i was a kid..It is called Pancers deli, it is at 3856 Bathurst st just north of the 401 hwy, The corned beef is piled high and is fantastic and was also rated # 1 in Toronto..This place is one of the last family owned old school deli's left in the city..They also have pastrami, baby beef and a lot more choices..You can see their menu for your self on their web site..Just look up the name. Leave your diet at home at this place..I know it's not the best advice in these days of so called healthy eating but if you order the pastrami, ask for it fatty with a new pickle. Enjoy..I go there at least twice a month..

This isn't much help, cause I can't remember the names of the restaurants where I ate, but every restaurant but one when I was there had outstanding food. They have restaurants there of many different ethnicities. The food in Toronto was awesome!

toronto is geographically broken up into different cultural areas.. pape/danforth is a greek village area. awesome restaurants and shops if you like that stuff..

yonge street from bloor down to king is the main drag. gotta take a stroll. eaton centre at yonge and dundas is a huge shopping mall.

a bit east on jarvis is the gay/bisexual part of town.

yorkville is just north of bay/bloor. kinda trendy ritzy shopping if you are rich.

cn tower is worth seeing as a tourist attraction.
