If it's dirt that is stubborn and doesn't remove easily with soap and water, try mixing a solution of sugar and olive oil to make a rough scrub, and then scrub with it, rinse, and then wash with regular soap and water to remove the oily feeling. If that seems to girly for you, you can use that orange hand cleaner that automotive stores like Auto Zone and Advance Auto sell to remove grease from hands. The secret is that it's gritty and helps remove stubborn dirt.

Scrub really good everyday. If it is really a problem try an over the counter skin bleaching cream like Skin Success.

if normal scrubbing doesnt work, and its sth thats stuck, try using a cloth with water and a bit of alcohol, but be sure you'r not sensitive to that or sth, i once tried it and it worked (had paint stuck to my nick).
