Kashmir is the source of many rivers that flow through Pakistan and India.specially for Pakistan it is very important because it is heavily dependent on agriculture.all rivers that flow through Pakistan are from Kashmir.Indian intentions of building dams and divert water from these rivers would be disastrous for Pakistan.it would give india control over pakistans rivers and they could also use this as a weapon against pakistan by overflowing rivers and flooding the country.
