English bulldog or american bulldog?

what is the difference? Will any one in dallas, texas sell me one at a good price

ther's a big difference in the 2. the english is the big smooshed -in face guy that looks brutal, but can be a very good pet. the american is much larger and has a totally different appearance. he's a big dog, and has a face more similar to a pit bull. and almost as powerful. i think you need to research both breeds before you try to buy either. they both have aggresive personalities, and can be a challenge.

I love both of these dogs. English bulldogs are smaller and usually have more wrinkles. American bulldogs are much larger, and usually have less wrinkles around the face. I personally want an American Bulldog because i love large dogs. I can't help you find a breeder, but you can check on http://www.petfinder.com/ to search for a dog of this breed in your area that needs a home. It is a website that lists animals who are in shelters and rescues. Good Luck finding your new dog, both are great breeds!!

well the first question is....what do you want the dog for....if you're looking for a home guardian and watch dog......the american bulldog is better for you....if you're looking for a compainion....then the smaller english bullie will do....the american is a dog that will get at least 100 lbs+ for males...and females a little below....the english is smaller and more suited to a small home or apt......which ever one you choose......good luck...

an English bull dog looks like a quire but probably will save ur life, the american one will turn around and f-u-c-k you over
