maybe do a trial run. panties at home, pull ups when you are out and about and see how she does? if after a week or so she is acciedent free, ditch the pull ups.

Take her shopping and put on those panties! Do it over a weekend or other slow time, and make it a party. She will have accidents, but accidents in panties feel much worse than in pullups, so they will not last. Do be warned, though, that every toddler has accidents, even ones who are "completely" trained.

When she is able to through the whole night with out any accidents then she is ready but like everyone has said don't get upset with her if she has one accident shes learning and it may take a while. Stress on a child can make them have a accident so if there is any stress on her when your switching that may be the case if she does have one also if she is sick that can cause a accident. So if she has one during the change don't be upset with her because it can cause a draw back and make her have more accidents.

I would go ahead and put panties on her. You may still have an occasional accident, but she will feel more like a big girl and will be more inclined to rememeber to use the potty. I suggest letting her pick them herself and getting characters on them. that way she knows not to pee on Dora, Spongbob, or whoever is on her underpants.

Put panties on top of her pull up to simulate wearing them, if she continues for the next few weeks no accidents faze the pull up out. works like a charm when they are wearing big girl panties.

My daughter started wearing panties two weeks ago. If you are at home then yes, definately put her in panties. She won't get used to how they feel if she's not wearing them, and they wash. Even poop washes! I got my daughter some from a thrift store (washed them with Oxyclean first!) so if they get stained, I don't feel too bad about them. I put her in pull-ups if we are going out though.

Listening to these people that already know about is ok with me i have a cousin and shes only 8 years old she tells me that she can be responsible by wearing her new panties and i trust her even if she makes mistakes she learns she knows when and where she would do her privacy.
Sometimes you need to give them a chance to experience it wearing and getting used to the Evaluation of going to the restroom, bathroom. This way they can start wearing Grown up panties.. You dont have to believe me what i am saying but this is from my own experience with my cousin even though she likes to make food fights in the house its ok with me

If you're ready for her to try and you think she is, then she probably is. Get the underwear and if she ruins them throw them in the washer. Bring a spare diaper when you go out in public. Just buy cheap underwear but tell her that they're really nice so she's proud of them. She'll outgrow them anyway.

She should already be wearing panties. I am training my son now and he is wearing underpants, it has helped him to know when he is going. Pull-ups are just a glorified diaper and haven't worked at all for us.
