I've just started avoiding personal care products containing "sodium sulphate" because it's a toxin. It got me wondering though, since I'm allergic to sulfa/sulpha drugs, should I avoid regardless?

Thanks,
Linda

Sulphate and sulfa are two different compounds and you probably aren't allergic to the sulphate in personal care products. Not a bad idea to avoid the sodium sulphate though since it can be toxic.
I have a sulfa allergy and my reaction was so bad, I read labels on food and any meds for anything remotely sounding like sulfa. The best thing I've found is to ask the pharmacist about anything that sounds like it might be iffy.
