Ive been taking Krav Maga for almost 6 months now and am really wanting to work in takedowns with defences. Anyone know of some, or where I can get some info?

i.e. books, internet sites, etc.

You want to learn takedowns in order to learn to defend them? You want to learn takedowns to use in self defense situations? Could you clarify your goals a bit?

Check out Judo it has over 60 different throwing techniques and over 30 grappling techniques which include arm locks chokes and leg locks although leg locks are not typically taught in dojos do to safety reasons.
Wrestling teaches takedowns but very basic ones like single or double legs, a firemans carry which is a throw called
Kata Garuma in Judo and a few modified suplex/standing gut wrench moves. Very usefull in Wrestling amd even in against opponants with little or no grappling skills but against a trained ground fighter you will need more. And that is where the Judo comes in.

13 years of Judo, 5 years of grcco/freestyle wrestling.

Additional: for the guy below me. It's an information site... What the hell does how many people a year who visit it have to do with whether or not the information offered is relavebt to the persons question? I doubt he they will be attending a Judo dojo to learn these techniques but I think that maybe if they found a few they thought were suitable to them they could print off the info and work on them in their dojo with their partners and sensei...
So apparently you don't like the info others have provided to the person.... What's your answer? And did you read the question

"Anyone know of some, or where I can get some info?

Crack head...

You cannot learn martial arts on the Internet!

Regarding this website: http://www.judoinfo.com/techjudo.htm

I was looking at that Judo website and thinking "that is a pretty good site" until I saw this: "With more than 5 million hits each month it is the world's largest online Judo dojo." It look like it has some excellent information until I saw that line I quoted.

There IS no such thing as an online dojo. There ARE some excellent sites put out there by various Dojo's that have videos and instructions designed as an instructional aid.

In lo' ye olde days of the 80's, my Dojang recorded myself and a few others performing various Forms at various speeds, these used as instructional video for the Dojang's students and the students of affiliate Dojangs.

I have no problem with this or with sites that use it as a teaching aid.

However, trust me, you cannot learn those moves even from a website like that.

I know a very few Hapkido throws and a few Judo throws. You can look at that website until you are blue in the face and not know what it actually FEELS like to throw and be thrown. You are not going to learn how to fall safely (there is MUCH to learn about how to fall), when throwing you are not going to learn to have a grasp on the arm of your practice partner's Gi so you can pull up, thusly avoiding giving him a nasty crack on the head.

That website is not going to provide you with a Dojo that has a properly padded floor.

That website is not going to tell you, when you do not have your hip properly positioned for the throw, how to change your stance the, sometimes, inches it takes to get a good one. Anyone who has actually done these throws knows the difference just a hip position can make. Just that change makes the difference of literally hauling a 200 (or whatever) man around or a quick, easy snap of a throw.

I am going to save anyone wishing to learn martial arts online a little bit of trouble:

ninjitsu is absolutly deadly for its takedowns.
yes ninjitsu the ancient japanese art of espianage. for example a light blow to under stomach the bottom of the ribb cage can cause 2 inches of chest compression causeing ribbs to break shards of broken ribb to punture lungs and stop the heart simlutaniously. or a dim mak. also a light blow to the ancillary nerve in the arm pit can cause calcium and adrenal composite's to overload nerve's heading to the brain the message horrible paralyzeing pain. this move can completely immobilize someone for 6-12 seconds before they regain normal movement.
but ninjitsu isnt all that common an art so i reccomend u simply use the world wide web for research and training.
also i reccomend u stay way from the more deadly aspects of ninjitsu for human life's sake
