There, the link is fixed x)
He was shaking when my sister went into the room, and he was standing in front of the water bottle. It was empty, so she refilled it. He drank alot of water, and he's walking around outside. He seems fine....

It's not really the sugar that's such a toxin as much as it is the chemicals in chocolate (specifically, the theobromine [methylxanthines]).
You didn't mention what kind of puppy, or how big (heavy) he is.
By-and-large, you should be fine. That said, and something not well known: Poison Control is able to respond to pet-poisonings and suspected events as well. For all poison control centers I've called, there is no charge for the call, although they ARE required to collect your name. Their phone number, throughout all of the United States, is: 1-800-222-1222 Please memorize it forever. 1-800-222-1222. Poison Control is staffed largely by volunteer Doctors, Nurses, Pharmicists, etc. 1-800-222-1222 - next to 911, that may be the most important number you'll ever learn.
In a poisoning event, seconds count. Call poison control *immediately* if you're ever worried that someone has overdosed on something. They'll quickly sort it out, and they're super-nice super-helpful folks in my experience.
I've called Poison Control twice for my dogs, on the advice of the 24hr vet. Veterinarians don't have access to the kind of instant information that Poison Control has.
Oh - and call your parents. Always. Parents want/need to know this stuff. Things like this happen. It's ok. You'll all get through it together. Please check back here in a few days and let us know how things resolved!
[Edit to Add:]
In 2006, Poison Control handled:
50,702 telephone consultations including 2,680 pet poisonings,

Heres some info on chocolate poisoning in dogs. Its a chemical in the chocolate that does the damage.
Milk chocolate: 1 ounce per pound of body weight. Approximately
one pound of milk chocolate is poisonous to a 20-pound dog;
one-half pound for a 10-pound dog. The average chocolate
bar contains 2 to 3 ounces of milk chocolate. It would take
2-3 candy bars to poison a 10 pound dog. Semi-sweet
chocolate has a similar toxic level.
Now remember , the two-three bars is all milk chocolate.
In your case the chocolate was just a very thin coating.
Symptoms are Within the first few hours, the evidence
includes vomiting, diarrhea ,.restlessness, hyperactivity, muscle twitching, increased urination or excessive panting.
Treatment involves getting the dog to vomit up what he ate and then activated charcoal.

Your puppy should be fine, just keep an eye on him , and dont let it eat any more.

Hey sweetie, calm down, it's OK. Three of those little peanut butter bars shouldn't do much harm. He might get a tummy ache and have a little diarrhea or constipation tomorrow, but he will be OK. Chocolate is more harmful to dogs than sugar. Be sure he has plenty of water, he will probably be thirsty tonight.
Keep a careful eye on your puppy and make sure he only eats his own food and treats. You sound like you are taking good care of your little one and love him (or her) a lot.
Good luck! And give puppy a kiss from me.

Just keep an eye on your dog. He should be fine, as they eat worse things when your not around.
Might want to save the candy rappers, just in case you need to take him to the Vet you can show them what he ate. Also might try calling the Vet to see if there is any danger from what he ate.
And let your parents know too. This way, if you have to rush him to the Vet, you won't have to explain it all in the crisis time.

Dogs eat their own crap. Do you think a little peanut butter is going to kill it? Dogs are omnivores, like people, and can eat anything you can eat. Many dogs survive by eating garbage, surely they get a little sugar in there (and chocolate).
Like you, if a dog eats too much sugar, he'll get diarrhea or throw up. That's it. No emergency. Chocolate won't kill it either, in small amounts. Milk chocolate is toxic when 1 ounce is eaten per pound of body weight. A sixteen pound dog must eat 1 pound of milk chocolate to kill it (or make it seriously ill). For semi-sweet and baker's chocolate, it is 1 oz/ 3lbs and 9 lbs body weight, respectively.

first ur going to have to tell ur parents regardless, do feel like u have to lie to them. accidents happen. They can call a vet to make sure that it wont harm the puppy. If ur sister swallowed a toxit chemical u would tell ur parents right? well same thing, that puppy depends on u to help take care of it, just like a baby. I do hope everything will be ok, and honestly i dont think it will hurt it too bad, but at least tell ur parents so they can get the puppy the right help
