That is such a typical question title for me... sorry. Anyway..

Does a lack of scientific evidence of a supernatural being automatically bring us to the conclusion that such a being does not exist?

Alex:

Pink unicorns didn't save me from my sin.
Pink unicorns don't live inside of me.
Pink unicorns don't love me.

Do you believe in the invisible pink Unicorn simply because someone else said she exists? That would be silly, wouldn't it?

Yes. So, there's no such thing as the Invisible Pink Unicorn, and no such thing as the Flying Spaghetti Monster, or your god. If you come up with some evidence, the conclusion will change.

Edit :
But I'm saying they do live inside you, and save you.
Each has equal proof of being true - none.
Why is that delusion less credible than your God Delusion?

Hehehe...borrowing from my other answer - no, the lack of evidence of bananas in our kitchen does not mean bananas don't exist anywhere. It simply means we can't go into our kitchen and wish bananas into existence. We have a reasonable certainty, based on all the available evidence that we can see, that yes, we have no bananas.

So while there may be supernatural beings in the universe, the fact that we haven't encountered them doesn't mean they don't exist, it simply means that if they do, they're not close enough to us to make a difference. So for all practical purposes, they don't exist in any real or meaningful way for us right now, any more than the bananas we can't eat.

Yes. Lack of evidence (scientific and non-scientific) plus the fact that it is illogical.

No, but if their is no evidence to believe in something it does suggest it doesn't exist.
