I know some don't even think God's real, but I do and if He is then wouldn't Satan also exist? Do you think there's good proof for it?
I am unsure on this topic, so please help.

SATAN [Resister].

In many places in the Hebrew Scriptures, the word sa·tan´ appears without the definite article. Used in this way, it applies in its first appearance to the angel that stood in the road to resist Balaam as he set out with the objective of cursing the Israelites. (Nu 22:22, 32) In other instances it refers to individuals as resisters of other men. (1Sa 29:4; 2Sa 19:21, 22; 1Ki 5:4; 11:14, 23, 25) But it is used with the definite article ha to refer to Satan the Devil, the chief Adversary of God. (Job 1:6, ftn; 2:1-7; Zec 3:1, 2) In the Greek Scriptures the word sa·ta·nas´ applies to Satan the Devil in nearly all of its occurrences and is usually accompanied by the definite article ho.

Origin. The Scriptures indicate that the creature known as Satan did not always have that name. Rather, this descriptive name was given to him because of his taking a course of opposition and resistance to God. The name he had before this is not given. God is the only Creator, and ‘his activity is perfect,’ with no injustice or unrighteousness. (De 32:4) Therefore, the one becoming Satan was, when created, a perfect, righteous creature of God. He is a spirit person, for he appeared in heaven in the presence of God. (Job chaps 1, 2; Re 12:9) Jesus Christ said of him: “That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him.” (Joh 8:44; 1Jo 3:8) Jesus here shows that Satan was once in the truth, but forsook it. Beginning with his first overt act in turning Adam and Eve away from God, he was a manslayer, for he thereby brought about the death of Adam and Eve, which, in turn, brought sin and death to their offspring. (Ro 5:12) Throughout the Scriptures the qualities and actions attributed to him could be attributed only to a person, not to an abstract principle of evil. It is clear that the Jews, and Jesus and his disciples, knew that Satan existed as a person.

So, from a righteous, perfect start, this spirit person deviated into sin and degradation. The process bringing this about is described by James when he writes: “Each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.” (Jas 1:14, 15) In the course that Satan took, there seems to be, in some respects, a parallel with that of the king of Tyre as described in Ezekiel 28:11-19.—See PERFECTION (The first sinner and the king of Tyre).

The Scriptural account, therefore, makes it plain that it was Satan who spoke through the medium of a serpent, seducing Eve into disobedience to God’s command. In turn, Eve induced Adam to take the same rebellious course. (Ge 3:1-7; 2Co 11:3) As a consequence of Satan’s use of the serpent, the Bible gives Satan the title “Serpent,” which came to signify “deceiver”; he also became “the Tempter” (Mt 4:3) and a liar, “the father of the lie.”—Joh 8:44; Re 12:9.

No I don't think there is a literal Satan. I KNOW THERE IS. To demonstrate this answer would require hours. So I will give the short version.

Jesus Christ cast out demons (devils). He was tempted by Satan when He fasted 40 days.
He told His disciples they were to cast out devils
The Bible says there was a war in heaven and the dragon which is Satan was cast out.
We are told that Satan can appear as an angel of light.

There are all kinds of statements mentioning Satan. To say there isn't would be to call God a liar (As He is the one that inspired the Bible).
We are trapped in the middle of the war between God and Satan even now as I am writing. Satan will be here till he is consumed at the end of the world.
Satan influences us daily. He works hard on how we think. He is constantly setting us up for disasster.

Yes Satan is very real

The Bible talks about Satan. He was the most beautiful angel in heaven. He got a big head and decided he would overthrow God. He couldn't do it. He was sent here to earth. Look at all the evil that goes on around the world. If he didn't exist this world would be perfect, and no evil what so ever. Satan is alive and well is going to and fro like a roaring lion to devour all he can get his hands on. He has his demons that are all over the earth, and they tell him what everyone is doing wrong, and then he stands in heaven, and tells God all the things that we do wrong. That is in Revelation. The demons are the fallen angels that followed Satan to over throw God.

Yes!! Satan, aka Lucifer, was originally God's highest angel, he got cocky and decided to do things his way, God banished him to hell, and a bunch of other angels decided to follow. That's where demons come from. Hell is a real place and Satan is real. Most people, I think, prefer to think its not because is something the human mind cannot comprehend. Hell has become humanity's final destination, because the very first human's failed the ultimate test. Obedience to our Creator. While that is not the final verdict, very few of us choose to escape that fate, because we would rather take pleasure in the here and now, or rather sin. It is a hard thing, but ever since Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge, that is our curse. I am just thankful that I have the salvation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Yes, Satan is a real being. God's word the Bible teaches that Satan is a fallen angel. Satan chose to rebel against God, and a third of the angels chose to rebel against God with Satan and they were all cast out of Heaven down to the Earth where they now tempt people and await judgement. Satan means "adversary" but he is a real being. Angels are spirit beings and that includes the fallen angels including Satan. www.equip.org

i would say yes.
some christians deny his existence, but all indications is yes, if God exists.

1. the Bible-simple reference point, as proof. Take a chapter from Revelation, or the Gospels.

2. Personal experience-
a lot of time when i reflect on experiences, it seems there can be little explanation besides the existence of a spiritual attack.

im not talking about lust, or guilt, but rather the state of my soul.
im normally a very high or low person, but there are times im just apathetic, for no apparent reason. im a very deep person, so having apathy towards something that matters deeply to me, is completely out of character for me. there are better examples, but this is the first that comes to mind.

another example, is my absolute fear of going to this camp, it took me 3 years to go to it, but when i did, it forever altered my life. there really wasnt anything that should of made me just plain fear the campe either.

i kno these are really generic examples, but i hope it gets the point across. afterall this is yahoo.

Yes, Satan is very real. He was an angel at one time and rebelled against God, he wanted to be God and have his glory and power, and he was thrown out of Heaven for his sins. He would like nothing better than to cause trouble and mayhem. I know our battles are not of flesh and blood, but are a spiritual warfare. I know he's trying his best to annoy me since I decided to start soul winning. The devil is the great confuser, father of lies, and is evil. He wants us to go astray and he delights in it. Read the book of Job and see what kind of trouble he caused one of God's children.

There is a Satan. First, if there is a God, there must be an "anti-God". There must needs be opposition in all things. Second, an encounter with Satan is a frightening experience, not one I wish to repeat.

Satan is a title not an individual person or being - it just means "the enemy", "the adversary" or "the resister" (Much how Islamists use it today when the call the US the great "satan")
It is used in the Bible to refer to several things/people, from kings to abstract concepts...
Much of the concept of Satan (as he is thought of in popular christian thought) is borrowed - not from Set as Egyptian nuts say but rather from Ariman - from the dualistic Zoarastrians.

yes, there is a literal Satan.

however, be careful not to justify his existence with "God exists so Satan must"

in eternity past - before Creation - God existed, but Satan did not.

Satan is not some demi-god that runs around undoing what God has done. He is not omnipresent, omniscient, or omnipotent He is a limited, CREATED being who will one day face ultimate judgment in the lake of fire.
