Styles with natural wave, flips and ripples are hot this spring. To get this look you may have to master the art of Scrunching.
If your hair has a slight natural bend, wave or natural curl, follow these steps.

Shampoo and condition with products formulated to improve your hair's texture and flexibility.

Towel dry your hair so that it is damp, not dripping.

Apply a firm hold styling aid from the root area to the ends. Hair Gel or Glaze is usually better for heavy hair and Styling Foam or Mousse usually works for fine hair. You may have to experiment to see which works for you.

To dry your hair, you will either use a diffuser or let it dry naturally. Either way, you must be patient to not rush the drying process.

well first, you take any type of scrunching gel, there is tons that you can get at a drugstore, most work pretty well. After you wet your hair, towel dry it and apply some of the gel to your hands. Then, flip your hair down or to the side, and take your hands and start "scrunching" your hair. Let it air dry or blow dry w/ a diffuser.

First get a firm hold hairspray from the stores and spray at the ends of the hair. Use your hands to squeeze the bottom portion of your hair and if it doesn't volumnize, try using a straight flat comb, to tease the edges for volume and scrunch (grabbing portion of hair to style).

use a mouse or leave in conditioner on damp or towel dried hair...the leave in conditioner doesn't frizz. Then take a handful of hair, and squeeze into a fist (scrunch). Do this throughout the hair until you see a wave appear. Do this around your hair three or four times, then let dry.

You can twist it ina tight bun overnight and it will curl in the morning then just add hairspray.

or you can use a styling product (Sallys has a great selection) like a curl defining cream or styling cream and put it in your hair then scrunch your hair.
