Angels are complete/perfect beings of the etherical/spiritual world. They are divided in subcategories starting from the archangels and their purpose is to keep the miracle of God's creation in total and pure harmony and order. Each human has an angel that protects his/her soul and reminds him/her of the path of life/destiny that the person needs to fullfill when living in this world. Yes they can be visible but they will interfere with us only when there is a serious reason for this. Most of the time we sense them. One thing that's for sure, is that they are the first beings that they will welcome the soul when we die while moving to the spiritual world.

Both the Hebrew mal-'akh' and the Greek ag'ge-los literally mean messenger
When spirit messengers are indicated, the words are translated 'angelt' but if the reference definitely is to human creatures, the rendering is 'messengers' Genesis 16:7; 32:3; James 2: 25; Revelation 22: 8 In the highly symbolic book of Revelation certain references to 'angels' may apply to himan creatures Revelation 2: 1, 8, 18; Revelation 3: 1, 7, 14. Angels are sometimes termed spirits; that which is spirit is invisible and powerful. Thus we read: " A spirit came out and stood before God; Having invisible spiritual bodies, they make their home in the heavens Mark 12: 25; 1 Corinthians 15:44, 50 They are also termed "sons of the true God" "morning stars" and "holy myriads" or holy ones Job 1:6; 2:1 38:7 Deuteronomy 33:2 Not being creatures that marry and reproduce their own kink, the angels were individually created by God through his firstborn Son, " the beginning of the creation by God" Matthew 22:30: Revelation 3:14. "By means of him [this firstborn Son, the Word] all other things were created in the heavens ... the things invisible... Also, he is before all other things and by means of him all other things were made to exist." Colosians 1: 15-17; John 1: 1-3 The angels were created long before man's appearance , for at the 'founding of the earth" the morning stars joyfully cried out together, and all the sons of God began shouting in applause Job 38: 4- 7 As for the number of angelic hosts of heaven, Daniel said he saw " a thousand thousands that kept ministering to {God}, and ten thousand times ten thousand that kept standing right before him" Daniel 7: 10 Hebrews 12:22 Jude 14.

No, angels are spirit beings. They do not have any physical body, but sometimes God causes His angels to temporarily appear in the form of a human, but they are spirit beings and they can only be one place at a time, whereas God is everywhere present. The word angel means "messenger". Angels are a different creation than humans. When a person dies, our soul leaves the body and goes either to Heaven or Hell. At the Second Coming of Christ, He will cause everyone's body to resurrect and everyone's soul will go back into our body and our bodies will be transformed into eternal bodies. Then will be the final judgment, and the believers will go to be with God in the New Jerusalem and the non-believers will go to the lake of fire. www.equip.org

Angel Evolution is the next stage to Human in Spirit Evolution.
Luke 20:
34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
Pure Spirits -- Description
General Characteristics — The influence of matter, null; a superiority, both intellectual and moral, so absolute as to constitute what, in comparison with the spirits of all the other orders, may be termed perfection.
Spirits of this order have passed through every degree of the scale of progress and have freed themselves from all the impurities of materiality. Having attained the sum of perfection of which created beings are susceptible, they no longer have to undergo either trials or expiations. Being no longer subject to reincarnation in perishable bodies, they enter on the life of eternity in the immediate presence of God. They are in the enjoyment of a beatitude which is unalterable, because they are no longer subject to the wants and vicissitudes of material life; but this beatitude is not the monotonous idleness of perpetual contemplation. They are the messengers and ministers of God, the executors of His orders in the maintenance of universal harmony. They exercise a sovereign command over all spirits inferior to themselves, aid them in accomplishing the work of their purification, and assign to each of them a mission proportioned to the progress already made by them. To assist men in their distresses, to excite them to the love of good or to the expiation of the faults which keep them back on the road to the supreme felicity, are for them congenial occupations. They are sometimes spoken of as angels, archangels or seraphim. They can, when they choose to do so, enter into communication with men.

No, they are not people at all....and what is more they are not dead people in Heaven.
During the creative period we read about the joy the Angels had at seeing God bringing about creation.
Where did you happen to be when I founded the earth?
Tell [me], if you do know understanding.
Who set its measurements, in case you know,
Or who stretched out upon it the measuring line?
Into what have its socket pedestals been sunk down,
Or who laid its cornerstone,
When the morning stars joyfully cried out together,
And all the sons of God began shouting in applause?
-Job 38:4-7
The "morning stars" noted here are God's Angels.
..........and no they are not visible. They are of a higher life form.

They apparently commonly had "relations" and "knew" earth women, because god flooded the whole earth to get rid of the offspring of the bad angels.
I had to use words like "relations" and "knew" because I answered a similar question and used the word fornication, and some good christian apparently reported me for adult content. I successfully challenged the violation report. But I don't want to offend anyone, so I won't use the word fornication frivolously in this post.
BTW - People should be careful who they try to Fornicate with.
