1. Only Atheists have claimed my logic (that would potentially prove to them they are indeed Agnostic) to be a fallacy.

2. Only Atheists have claimed that everyone is born an Atheist.

(Sorry for picking on you...)

Yes. That is a valid observation. What does it prove? That other theists have flawed logic just like you do.

Edit: I should not have included Pagans and wiccans with the Christians. Pagans and wiccans, like atheists, have more sense than Christians.

Get over us Doug. This is what pisses people off about Christians. You're like a dog with a bone. All these feeble attempts to redefine categories of which you are not a part. I'm not forcing you to admit that you're agnostic which by your own logic you are. Prove me wrong? Why is your capacity to "know" better than an atheist's? How come you can be certain that Zeus doesn't exist yet you won't allow others the same degree of confidence about your god without calling the toss?

The defintion of atheism may disturb you but you don't have to let it. All your wrestling with it isn't going to change it until it suits you. We aren't telling you what a Christian is. Now go and put on some soothing music and leave people in peace.

In ways we are all Agnostic, it is a very thin line, because no one can completely determine the existence of a possible creator at this time. It is usually, in the academic community, defined in much shallower terms, strictly on belief, and thus, whether purely logical or not, we would all be atheists, as Atheists don't believe, Agnostics question. We do not gain the ability to question these things until much later.

If you need further explanation I would be happy to give it to.

It is common sense that everyone is born atheist. It's not a claim as you so bluntly put it. Everyone is born with the lack of belief in a god. Even animals. Everyone is born an agnostic atheist. No way around that.

Also, most atheists ARE agnostic. Not too many are gnostic atheists.

Saying that everyone is born an atheist (and thus it is the most "natual state") is a rather ridiculous statement. It's like saying everyone is born illiterate. Of course they are. Some things come only through experience and learning.

An infant has no sense of self, much less the rest of the universe. Even a two-year-old has little care for anyone other than himself. Do atheists believe that is the natural or correct state of being?

So I guess that means you think I'm an atheist? I hate to burst your little bubble, but I'm an Asatruar and I do agree with the atheists on those two points. Your logic is flawed and yes, everyone is born without belief in any Gods.

I don't find anything about your assertion offensive at all. Atheism comes across to me as definitely belief of certainty. Many have stated for sure in their is no god beliefs. Now how can a baby just out of the womb think that way. A baby doesn't have capacity to think issues that deeply. If anything a baby is born an agnostic and later makes a decision in what he or she want to put his/her faith in. Sorry to burst the bubble of many but this is obvious. blessings.

I didnt believe it and Im a theist. We are what we are by virtue of our beliefs. Atheists do not believe there is a god, that makes them atheists regardless of what they can prove up front. Christians are theists because they believe in God. Polystheists are what they are because they believe in many gods. Agnostics are what they are because they arent sure.

You always pick on us, what's new? I just wish you'd do it WITH logic and with less insincerity.

Only Fundie Xians desperate to discredit atheists agreed with your logic. That's SUCH a great endorsement for you....

Children do not know about gods and religion until people introduce them to gods and religion. Plenty of Case Studies that show that severely neglected children or feral children to not worship your god.

What evidence do you need before you decide to face reality?

The way that only Christians push Jesus on me, and only Christians claim that nothing in your life means anything without a 200 yeard dead man, assuming he was real in the first place?
Yeah, pretty weird, huh?
