I am in New Jersey. They are predicting a lot of snow on the day that I'm supposed to take my test for my liscence. If there's a lot, will it be postponed? Or will they just make me take it anyway? And how do I call to reschedule if I can't get there?

First of all, You are not under any obligation to take your road test on the date the DMV gave you, good weather or bad. If you want to change your test date in advance of the test you may either call the NJ DMV, or change it online at http://www.state.nj.us/mvc/
Also, if The DMV offices in Trenton declare a snow day in the morning, all testing facilities in NJ are likely closed. If you call 1888 486-3339 (NJ DMV) (MON. - FRI 8:30 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.)., they can tell you if all tests are cancelled, and the will reschedule you. They MIGHT also have it posted on the DMV site under closings and delays at the link provided above. Unfortunately, on the actual day of your road test you can not reschedule online (by the nj dmv website), as the online service does not allow rescheduling on the actual day of your road test, so you will have to call if you are rescheduling on the day of your test.
For iffy days when there are delayed openings (the snow is not too bad) and there are not clear cut closings across NJ, it depends on the location of your road test. Some sites (like Miller airpark) often (not always) have the County plows come first thing in the morning as their road test site is down the street from the County parking for plows. On such days, each site opens at a different time depending on conditions (obviously, the course must be totally of snow and ice). Therefore, in such an instance call 1888 486-3339 to check status at your SPECIFIC facility.
Alternately, you may call a local driving school, and they should know if you area's road test facility is open, or has a delayed opening. I have seen tests given in 6 inches, and some pushed off a day or two in 3 inches. Best of luck!!!

If the testing center is open, then you take the test. If you have doubts, I would call to change the testing date.

Only they can tell you if it would be postponed.. and you call by getting their number and calling. The phone lines shouldn't be affected by the snow ---- hopefully!

I REALIZE THIS POST IS 7 YEARS OLD BUT I AM SUPOOSED TO TAKE MY DRIVERS TEST TOMORROW AND I LIVE IN NEW JERSEY TOO AND LITERALLY IT IS A BLIZZARD OUTSIDE. I HOPE IT DOESNT GET POSTPONED, BUT IT PROBABLY WILL. IDK WHAT TO DO? HOW LONG WILL I HAVE TO WAIT TO TAKE MY ACTUAL TEST AGAIN?
