And if he says no, don't feel hurt or sad. It is not personal about you. Not everyone in this world is attracted to everyone. And it has nothing to do with how pretty or smart you are. We are all different and we all see things in people differently. I don't know your age but if you are young, he may talk about it with his friends so just be prepared to take some flak. You should go for it. It's likely that your friend has told him all about you and he's probably just shy. I'm sure he would be glad to go out with you. I know because it was my girlfriend who asked me out, not the other way around. You'll never know unless you ask him. Hope this was of help.

u should go for u ask him what he is doing for valentines day like a a week ahead of time and if he not doing anything see if he wants to go out on a date or out as friends....good luck :)

I think you should because you like him alot. you have the same interest and are into the same things. so ask it wont hurt you at all. You it , he sound like a very nice person.
