you could make chili if you have the ingredients. What I like to do with ground meat (turkey, beef, pork) is to fry it as is and then add vegetables and spices. You can serve it over rice or just eat as is. so it's sort of a stir fry and is relatively healthy. The spices really add flavor to the meat, and it's all yummy! And the veggies add nutrition to the meal.

I was just searching through foodnetwork.com by ingredient for my own dinner tonight. I came up with shrimp cakes.

I don't think hamburger translates well into any kind of cakes.

But you could take that burg and mix it up with the rice and make porcupine balls. I loved them when I was a kid and my kids loved them and who doesn't? Half rice, have burg, a little pickle relish and some seasonings, mix in an egg and roll into balls, bake for 30 minutes. Serve them up with some roasted potatos (potatos cut into chunks and tossed with olive oil and garlic and italian seasoning, then baked in the oven along with the porcupine balls.

Serve the meatballs over a bed of spinache and you have a winner.

Then again, tacos can't be beat. Neither can Shepherd's pie. Just sautee the burg up with some chopped carrots and peas, add some brown gravy and put in a baking dish, top with mashed potatoes and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake until the cheese melts and the tatos start to golden up on top.

Yum, maybe I'll rethink the shrimp cakes.

Pizza Fondue

This can be made in slow cooker or crock pot to keep warm. I fry ground meat first then throw in cooker. Or you can make on stove just have to keep an eye so the cheese doesn't burn.

Ground meat (browned)
Couple jars of sauce (Pizza sauce or tomato sauce with some seasonings added works)
Mozzarella cheese
Cheddar cheese

Warm all together then dip french or italian bread cubes that have been toasted in it. Awesome and easy...my son eats it without the bread just in a bowl.

you could make tacos. Just fry the meat. When brown drain the grease. Add some chopped potatoes to the meat and cook until potatoes are tender. Dont forget to add some salt, garlic salt, and pepper. When done fry your corn tortilla in oil, add meat, and fold befor it gets to hard to fold. Fry until hard and repeat process. Try not to let any meat fall out of the tortilla ont the pan cause it will pop. Top with lettuce, chesse, tomatoe slice, and cucumber slice. Top with salsa. Enjoy!

Take out what you need for today or maybe tomorrow and refrigerate.
the rest you are going to freeze- freeze in amounts you will need for one day at a time. Protect it in plastic wrap of plastic containers in the freezer. Upon thawing quality will be very good if not held to many days in the freezer.
