why do I keep having one side of my body go numb and my lips tingle? Also, my husband said I quit breathing 2 times the other night. I have lost more weight than I should have and am wondering if that is the cause or if I should be more worried about other health issues?

I know someone who had that operation...my advice would be to get regular check ups. There's so much you can get from the answers on this website but a doctor can really help you with any questions or concerns.

you should talk to your doctor!
have no clue about the tingling and numbness
maybe your taking so kind of medication thats supressing your breathing causing sleep apnea.... its serious especially if you did not have this prior to surgery.... call your DR.

Could be nerve damage or injury, or stroke. Do you have sleep apnea as well? That could make you stop breathing.
