If you have natural curly hair a straightener won't take out all the curl. A chemical straightener really only works on permed hair. The most it will do is take it down to a body wave. I had my hair straightened once and it just took it to the natural wave I had in my hair.
If you aren't sure on how it will look on you, try a straightening iron. You will have to use a straightening serum, and other products, but you should get the desired effects.

I have wavy hair and I straighten it on occasion with a flat-iron. Ive never had it done in a salon, but I have had a perm. Any form of chemical procedures done to hair will cause it to frizz, but there are preventative measures to keep down those pesky flyaways. I like ISO shine serum. I apply it when my hair is wet, and run a bit through after I style. Also, an anti-frizz shampoo, such as sunsilk, will help with this. DO NOT USE PANTENE it worsens the problem. Make sure to keep your split ends under control by getting frequent trims and tame flyaways with a bit of hairspray. Keep it well-conditioned and the frizz should not be noticeable.

i have wavy hair but my friend does have curly.
Well it does look super pretty when you staringed it.
Sometimes it will get frizzy if you sweat so dont were your hair like htat if you go to gym like everyday.
Your hair wont get back to curly unless you take a shower.
So if you wanna keep it like that were a shower cap.
If you dont own a shower cap put a platic bag on your head.
but not over the face just put your hair in the bag and tie it on yor head.
Thats wat you can do but dont kill yourself if you dont know wat i mean.
Then after you fell like you need to wash your hair do it.
Then blow dry tour hair or if you dont like blow drying wait till its dry.
Then starigten your hair again.

yah i have naturally curly hair... not like tight ringlettes... more like loose ones. ummm... but if you just get a hair straightener and then spray like straightening spray onto it it will help from frizzing. and so will a ceramic straightener. and beseides if you dont like it straight then just wash your hair and it will go back curly :)

paul mitchell super skinny serum....it says to put it on wet...but i put a dime size amount in my palms...rub thoroughly...put it in my hair (while dry) from ends, working my way up....steer clear of the scalp though...distribute evenly, then use a flat iron...seperate into 3 main sections horizonally...straiten each section
