The best therapy is to get back on the saddle again, and take further precaucions if at all possible. If you can, get full coverage and uninsured motorist protection for added peace of mind should something like this ever happen again.

The main thing is that you are still alive. They may catch this person. Surely, they have to get their car fixed somewhere. Unfortunately for most people, debt is a way of life. Don't let that get you down. Just do what you can do.

Well, My uncle was hit by a hit&run driver in New York when he was in the Navy. After much hospital time, getting pins in and grafts to his legs, he still has deep obvious scars. He has gotten on with his life because the Navy has a very good support system. He had a lot of friends in the Navy. He is out now, and works in the medical profession.

I once got knocked flat on my a** by a 10,000 pound missile launcher when I was in the Navy, but luckily it was a glancing blow and all I got was some scrapes and bruises. Accidents happen, even with all the safety precautions we had with our missile system. BTW, that was a short in a cable that caused the launcher to move even when power was off to the motor.

first you need to get up off the road before the next vehicle comes, LOL, i know your smiling, dont fall into the pitfall of worrying about financial problems just face them head on and get help, dont know your location but every where there is help available see an advice bureau, dont let things get worse before you try and fix them,as for the accident they just happen, either you didnt look or the driver was out of order, either way an accident is just that, an accident,a strange word really, much likened to the word horse,(they come in all shapes and sizes and you never know where there will be one).careful now your smiling again.put it behind you and always look around you, there is always someone worse off than yourself, trust me ive been there, but also believe me there is a light at the end of the tunnel.look forward and dont dwell on the past it.good luck.

you bring a walking stick cause you have problems walking and ride the bus they treat you like a second class citizen and try to visit with good people to git out of the depression and they and the bus driver gang up on you then they dont care about no ada or a 504 it seems stupid to them then noone will touch you for a job because of your accident then you file for social security and they tell you you dont have any problem that you can do supstantial work dont worry about the 2 sticks you occasionally walk with because the canes are to short and not a chick magnet and the bus driver tells you you have to prove your handicapped and says to bad for you you cant bring your cane and then the supervisor tells you you cant have your cane either so you write them a letter and it falls upon deaf ears they pass you up like you never raised your hand to signal for them to stop and speed up and pretend like they didnt see you so you wish you had a big rock to throw at their window so they can see you alot better you think about going postal after you thought the pen was mightier than the sword contact the aclu by the time the letter gits there your in jail cause they say its a huge weapon and a huge threat dont mind the pain coming and going thruout your body or the pain your having or that there is no compassionate laws then you have choices of meds that can kill you and are worse than your sickness so you go to the college and its a short period and the cops hurrass you there and there are students are mean to you and you git fired from jobs like taco bell and wendys people try to accuse you of stealing when your the most honest you have ever been and when you cant have breaks to sit cause you have a problem standing they fire you and you think about the postal option but figure there is to many butholes and you would run out of bullets so you file complaints and people tell you you have no complaint then you turn to alcohol then go to meetings and think if your sober things will change the people treat you like krap there then you try the library and the patrons complain about you there and the big ball of frustration gits bigger and there are bike trails that are few and far inbetween and its to cold to ride in the snow and with an injury never mind the bus drivers obeaseity being a weapon but keep your head high cause every were you go they mess with you so you try staying at home cause you cant stand people and go to the forest to git away from it all and find your a horible camper and your girlfriend and her kids beat the krap out of you and ignore you and you contact the police only to find that reports on men dont usually git filed properly but the one think that does cheer you up is a homemade valentines from a stranger on the bus cause if there was anybody that needed one it was you and you cant remember the last time you had one

Jose, I fell off of a Building back in '04 and am impaired now, I tried drugs& drink, counciling, rage and the church.Went through a bad depression and self loathing. Finaly I reached my bottom I asked GOD in my own way to help me and he/she did,What happened to me and to you wasn't our fault. It was an accident and only that.I came to see that these things just happen and there's nothing we can do about it...alone. You will come to find in yourself what it takes to be alright with yourself. Then you will begin to heal inside and out.
