Hello,
I'm a 14 year old middle school student doing a search project about the effects of combat and the military. If you can and were a veteran or a current service men/women who experienced combat in anyway can send me their email address or home address. Or if you know a service men/women serving in Iraq or Afghan I really would like to hear from them about my topic. Thank you

Both sites are pretty much the same people.
A group of people started usmilnet after strong disagreement with military.coms moderation policies.
After enough people said "if you don't like it...start your own web site"
they did.
A lot of the same screen names.
At any rate you will have to register which is not a problem.
Active duty/retired military on those boards.

as a combat vet and ex SF member I can tell you that life changes forever once you are in the combat zone. my gf can attest to about the 2-4 hours of sleep that I might average a night.
