for each other and should'nt waste any more of each other's time" and "if we aren't talking like old friends, we shouldnl't continue"? Many guys put these words in their online dating profiles. I find it just weird as first meetings are always akward just as first dates with people you already know and you can't really judge a person on the first coffee meeting (unless your dates a drunk, smokes, or is rude and offensive). I find it hard to think I would be laughing hysterically with a complete stranger within minutes. I usually have to know a person a little better before I can act silly with them and show my quirky side. I think the same goes for the physical attraction as I don't think I would be making out with someone I just met, even if I was attracted to them, it's just creepy. Is this creepy or am I the one that is creepy? lol

It's a silly comment and a cliche by those without imagination. It would be nice to "click" instantly but most of the time, it takes time and effort to know someone.

Something is wrong with those guys probably, there is nothing wrong with you. I could never see myself laughing like that either with someone after 10 minutes, not even 20 to be exact. People online are wierd, they will read into your profile and start analyzing you, playing amature psychology. It's dangerous to date people from online anyway, why don't you just find someone to date in real life?

It's the endromorphines. If you like each other, you are smiling. The pheromones take over and you can't help yourself. That's what he means. He's searching for an affair of the heart. Something like "a soul mate," but someone he feels it right away, like love at first sight kinda thing.

My goal on a first date is to at least make out with her, if not have sex by the end of the night....so I don't think that is creepy at all. If the mutual attraction is there....go with it and stop being a prude.
