Reposting because, first time not enough detail.

My BF is planning a co-worker only (no spouse) ski weekend for his co-ed coworkers. Staying in a cabin. I am a skiier.

Would you be comfortable with this?

The group going would only be the late 20-30 something. Right now it is 4 girls and 2 guys....

The two guys both have SOs, but the girls are all single.

So if it's just co-workers and no managers then I would just call it a trip with friends, so why can't you go? I'd understand if it was just a guys ski trip but there are girls going as well. For a co-workers event this sounds very organized, especially if there are only 6 people going from the same office. Seems to me like they just went to lunch together one day and said "let's go skiing this weekend". I bet there was no memo sent out or anything, like there usually is for social events in an office. It's even more odd that there are no spouses aloud. Have you even met these people before? I really see this as a red flag and a very big one at that. You have every right to feel odd about this situation. Something is up and you need to get to the bottom of it so talk to him more...a lot more! Maybe do some detective work too. Call his office and ask the secretary (or who ever picks up) about it. I'm not one to be sneaky but sometimes it's necessary. All in all, if something doesn't feel right to you then it's not! I wish you the best of luck. Take care.

Are they sharing a cabin? do the co-workers show interest in your bf? Or visa versa? Tell him that you'd really be more comfortable coming along. Or just send the co-worker death threats if they go on the trip. jk

It's probably just a team building thing. A lot of corporations do this. I say it's no big deal. You can't have a succesful long term relationship without trust.

I would be pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First of all you have a bad feeling about the trip or else you wouldn't be asking this question and you may feel that he's lying about some of the details because guess what he had to tell you because he lives with you and he couldn't disappear without telling you so maybe he came up with the story so you won't bother him. I would watch him if I was you.

It depends on how many cabins he is getting. If it is one cabin per guy, then maybe he is planning a 3some for each guy. If they are just going to rent one cabin, especially since they are coworkers, it would not be wise for him to cheat on you in front of witnesses who he sees on a daily basis. I think you are OK.

I would, but I easily trust people. Maybe you guys can go skiing another time, or you can go to a different ski resort with a friend. Ask him to be honest with you.

I wouldn't be worried if it was a group of them, but if its just two guys and four girls then something is fishy, but then again maybe not. Maybe you should talk to him and ask him if you can come too. If you trust him already then there is nothing to worry about. Just talk to him about it.

NO NO NO! There is something very fishy about this! Put your foot down, and either go with him or be gone when he gets back. He is up to no good . . . . I almost always tell people "Put your spouse before yourself". NOT THIS TIME!

4 girls and 2 guys? If he goes, I'd tell him that you won't be home when he gets back. I'm against the idea!

Can you have your boyfriend email me? If there are going to be more girls than guys I would like to go. I am single and unattached.
